It’s that time of year in Nauvoo when excitement and energy fills the air and everything is in motion, full-speed and fast-paced.

Smiling faces are everywhere. We have watched as tents go up, lights are hoisted, and banners are unfurled on the pageant grounds. Horse-drawn wagons are heard clip-clopping down the road from early morning to mid-afternoon.

Families are gathering and old friends are renewing friendships as the work begins—rehearsing, singing, dancing, acting—preparing for weeks of summer shows, vignettes, and activities.
