Some days are perfect photo op days. Like today. A neighbor dropped by with news of Historic Nauvoo’s newest resident laying quietly outside the front door of a missionary apartment. Of course, Tom took off with his camera to capture cuteness.

Deer are plentiful in Nauvoo. The beautiful, long-legged animals are often seen gracefully running across the fields…..without fear. This little fawn didn’t seem to mind Tom crouching down within 2 feet to snap a few shots.

Sweet. Even the animals feel safe in old Nauvoo.
